This article revolves around this issue, to discuss my own views.   Do laptops have to be plugged in all the time? Although laptops are equipped with an extra battery, the battery life is usually around 2 to 4 hours, and the battery is generally used as a backup power source. the IC system will prioritize the use of power from the laptop power adapter based on the connection status of  the power supply , and will also charge the battery.   But this is only when the laptop is working. If the user is not using the laptop, he can also unplug it without having to keep it plugged into the computer.
